From London to Leinster... ar ais arís
My family ties run deep in Kildare and Mayo — two counties that define the rugged landscapes and shifting light found throughout my work. Having followed the Irish football team across Europe, the USA, and Japan, I've found that sport runs through my painting in the same way the land does — as something lived and felt, not just seen. From the energy of London to the quiet of a Mayo beach, every piece is a unique original.
Each painting is built slowly — oil on canvas or acrylic on board — layered until the image finds its weight. The work spans places near and far, the natural world, contemporary and figurative subjects, music and sport. Mixed media works and clay sculpture run alongside — hand-built figures, portrait busts and animals worked from raw clay.
Commissions are always welcome — whether a bespoke pet portrait, a landscape with personal meaning, or a sport or music subject made entirely to your brief. Every commission is painted individually and shipped worldwide.
